St. Elizabeth Convent

St Elizabeth Convent is a retirement home of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY.    The Administrator is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the convent.  This encompasses:  overseeing building maintenance; supervising employees; budgeting; purchasing; managing the maintenance of vehicles and equipment, especially air conditioning and electrical equipment (knowledge of which is a plus).    The duties of the Administrator also include:  knowledge of basic accounting; selecting and supervising outside contracted vendors; overseeing the operation of internet and computers; ensuring that the sisters are in a safe and caring environment; and other administrative type duties that may be assigned.  The Administrator should be available to handle or assist with operational issues that may arise during non-business hours.  The Administrator works with and reports to the Local Minister.
