St Catherine of Siena is seeking a Bookkeeper & Office Manager with strong communication and organizational skills to join our pastoral team. Key responsibilities include all duties associated with accounts payable, revenue processing and overseeing operations of the office. Normal business hours are 8:00am-4:00pm. This is a full time position with benefits.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with bookkeeping experience or minimum of 5 years’ experience within the bookkeeping field
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of automated accounting systems
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and creativity, be detail oriented, generate work in a timely manner, be a self-starter, a team player and have good communication skills
  • Knowledge of parish operations is preferred
  • Basic knowledge in ParishSoft or ability to achieve a basic understanding of the program

Candidates must pass a Level II FBI background screening and attend Safe Environment Training
