Position Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location:   384 15^th Street N St Petersburg, FL 33705   

Work Schedule: 40-45 Hours typically M-F, can vary based on demands

Starting Date: as soon as possible

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for a broad spectrum of accounting functions and business practices that relate to the financial integrity of the District Office and its multiple operations.

What are we looking for:

• A dynamic, solutions focus individual who wants to make a difference in the community

•  An individual that is passionate about moving the homeless to housing

• An individual that thinks outside the box and is experienced in budgeting and administration of a finance department

• An individual that has experience in the non-profit space and has administered multiple funding sources and complex billing

Preferred Educational Experience:

• A master’s degree in business or accounting

• CPA with 10 years’ experience of financial management experience, preferably with a nonprofit background or experience dealing with funding agencies.

• Must be proficient with Sage Intacct software with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficient in QuickBooks software

• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and understand the issues that are faced by low-income populations

• At least five years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Candidate must successfully complete a Level II FBI background screening and complete online Safe Environment Training prior to employment.
