Corpus Christi is seeking a Communications Coordinator. This position provides cohesive communications from the Pastor to the parishioners and the community at large using multiple platforms.

Full time, flexible schedule as needed; non-exempt

Essential Functions:

  • Communications (i.e. phone calling, emailing, Flocknote, website, bulletin, all social media)
  • Provides information as needed to visitors/callers regarding parish guidelines, ministries, activities, and any other matters.
  • Coordinates Facilities Schedule via Outlook and all requests for facility use.
  • Coordinates Livestreaming
  • Assists with Clergy Calendar, Prayers of the Faithful and Mass Announcements.
  • Takes on Special Projects as directed from Supervisor. 
  • Monitors/troubleshoots office equipment operation and supplies


  • Proficient in using standard office equipment and procedures (e.g., facsimile, photocopier, computer).  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Mail Merge, Publisher, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Email marketing
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Member of the Catholic faith and an understanding of Catholic Stewardship.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; able to build relationships within the office staff, parish leaders, and parishioners.
  • Ability to organize and plan events, prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Bilingual required (English/Spanish)

Candidate must successfully complete a FBI Level II Background Screening and complete Safe Environment Training.
