St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33602, is looking for an experienced pianist/organist who is responsible for the planning of all liturgical music for Sunday celebrations, feast days, and seasons of the liturgical year. We are a small and friendly congregation. (approx. 200 parishioners) There is one Sunday service, 10:00 a.m.  Rehearsals have been Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  This, however, is flexible.  

 The choir sings traditional, Gospel, and contemporary hymns. The main music resources are Word & Song Missals and Lead Me Guide Hymnal 2^nd ed. The ability to cantor and/or work with the volunteer cantors is also a part of the requirements, but not an absolute.

• Salary considerations are negotiable.

• Weddings and funerals are for extra compensation and the pianist/organist has first right of refusal.

• More in-depth information and sharing will take place during interview if selected as a possible candidate.

Candidate must successfully pass a Level II FBI Background screening and complete Safe Environment Training prior to employment.
