St. Theresa‘s Catholic parish in Spring Hill, FL has job opportunities for several persons who are: Team Players and Initiative Takers.

All successful candidates will be:
(1) discreet,
(2) able to pass a Florida Law Enforcement background and fingerprint check,
(3) successfully pass the St. Petersburg diocese’s Safe Environment courses for Minors and Vulnerable adults,
4) be fluent in understanding, speaking, reading and writing good English.

Area 1 — Plant & Grounds Maintenance Team

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

(a) whatever the pastor assigns;
(b) housekeeping in the church building, office building, residences and other buildings;
(c) monitoring and addressing the needs of the grounds and physical buildings using excellent general handyman repair skills;
(d) work with the pastor to bring outside vendors to address things that are beyond the scope of the Maintenance Team’s capabilities.

Opening #1 — This position is BOTH inside and outside. Part time 25 hrs/wk Monday through Friday. This position will change to full time 30 hrs/ wk Monday through Friday starting May 1, 2023

Opening #2 — This position is primarily inside. Part time 24 hrs/wk Monday through Friday until the current employee returns from medical leave. At that time, this position will reduce to 15 hrs/wk Monday through Friday. HOWEVER, should the current employee not be able to resume their full jobs responsibilities, the new employee will remain at 24 hrs./wk Monday through Friday.
