This is a temporary part-time position from July through September.
Keep accurate records in the Registry Books and ParishSoft of all sacraments that occur at St. Theresa. (Baptism, Communion, Confirmation and Marriage). Record deaths in Death Registry. Update baptismal records as notified.

Must be aware of Diocesan policies, procedures and guidelines. Sacramental Records Handbook (2019) is also on the DOSP website.

Sacrament Certificates and Notification: Provide certificates for Sacraments as needed. Send notifications of sacraments to church of baptism.

Job Skills:

*Dedicated to accuracy in all Offertory and Sacramental responsibilities and policy. This is the most important requirement.
Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Publisher and ParishSoft
Good communication skills. Phone and email.
Confidentiality is a must.

Candidate must successfully pass a Level II FBI Background Screening and complete Safe Environment Training.
