Pastoral Center, St. Petersburg

The Diocese of St Petersburg is seeking a personable, organized and detail oriented individual to provide basic administrative support for our Safe Environment team. This position is a part time opportunity of approximately 15-17 hours per week, but some weeks could require more hours.

Job Responsibilities:

· Ensure compliance in processing and maintaining safe environment forms and records for employees, vendors and volunteers
· Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for HR reporting purposes
· Assist with fingerprinting process
. Check voice mail and respond as necessary
. Maintain database info
. Obtain driver license report electronically for anyone who drives on behalf of the Diocese
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma
· Ability to adapt to change while prioritizing work responsibilities
· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
· Excellent communication, and organizational skills
· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel

Experience:  Human Resources or similar confidential position: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:  Monday to Friday, No weekends, Day shift, 5 hour shift

Candidates must pass a Level II FBI Background Screening and attend Safe Environment Training.
