Thrift Store Manager ~ Full-Time

Summary: The Store Manager has responsibility for the management and operating results of the store. As a work of the St. Vincent de Paul Society serving those in need, the Manager will also be responsible for delivering supportive services through referrals to people in need.

Duties and Responsibilities

execute sales plan via quality customer and selling service
-supervise and train staff to execute performance plan
-manage and supervise processing of receipts; including pricing and ticketing of merchandise
-direct and oversee store presentation of merchandise
-plan and prepare store promotions and manage web site listing of merchandise
-manage SVDP supportive referral services program
-execute expense plan through expense management including payroll and purchase management and recycling of merchandise
-Responsible for store operations including banking and cash control, store deliveries and pickups, store maintenance and maintenance of a safe environment


-Experience in store management and customer service
-Required skills: leadership, team building, merchandise presentation and expense management
