Like everything of value, there’s no getting around the fact that a Catholic education costs money. We won’t lie and say that it’s always easy for our families to afford tuition. The vast majority of our families make considerable sacrifices for their children to attend Catholic schools. As a Church, we believe that we find solutions when we work together and enter into dialogue so talk to your pastor and/or school principal. They can make you aware of state, Diocesan, and parish-based resources and scholarships available for qualifying families. It’s important to remember, however, that all Catholic schools themselves are nonprofit ministries and working hard to run efficiently and pay their own bills.
