Each year, Catholics from across Florida gather in Tallahassee during the legislative session for Catholic Days at the Capitol. United with Florida’s bishops, participants bring the light of faith to the public square by advocating for the dignity of every human person, the protection of human life, and the common good. Through prayer, civic engagement, and conversations with lawmakers, participants have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for individuals, families, and communities throughout our state.
Please note: Hotel, restaurant, and travel accommodations are not provided by the Diocese; however, there are local hotels and dining options available in the area. Due to the nature of this event, we encourage you to make your accommodation reservations as soon as possible.

Arrival, Call to Order, Legislative Briefing and Diocesan Planning Sessions
Get informed on the key legislative proposals we’ll be advocating for at this important briefing.
Attendance is required to meet with legislators.
When: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Start your day with Florida’s bishops, Catholic Conference staff, legislators, and fellow pilgrims from across the state.
When: 7:30 AM – 9:15 AM

Meet with Your Legislators
Take part in scheduled visits to meet with your state Senators and District Representatives.
All appointments will be coordinated by the Office of Missionary Discipleship. We kindly ask that you do not schedule any meetings independently.
When: 9:15 AM – 5:00 PM
Visit by the Catholic Days Display Table anytime from 10 AM to 4 PM.
