Three Significant Celebrations are Being Planned

  • Sunday, May 6, 2018, 3 p.m., Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
    Over 1,300 people gathered at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle on Sunday, May 6, 2018, to pray during a Holy Hour as Bishop Parkes consecrated the Diocese of St. Petersburg to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. For more information, click here
  • Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11 a.m., Anniversary Mass
    Bishop Parkes will celebrate Mass at St. Jude the Apostle Cathedral to commemorate the establishment of the Diocese. Bishop Emeritus Robert Lynch will be the homilist.  This will be a ticketed event but you can pray along virtually via the live video stream:
  • Saturday, October 272018, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.Family Faith Fest
    Bishop Parkes invites everyone to a faith and music festival commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. This free event will be held at the beautiful Al Lopez Park of Tampa. Festival will also include games and activities for children, fun, food, music, entertainment, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and the celebration of the Eucharist as a community in a special way with Bishop Gregory Parkes as principal celebrant. Al Lopez Park is located on 132 acres of a natural preserve with plenty of trees, Florida wildlife, open green spaces, playgrounds, walking trails and two scenic ponds.
