The Filipino Catholic Ministry (FCM) in the Diocese of St. Petersburg serves as a vibrant expression of faith, culture, and community among Filipino Catholics in Florida. Established to accommodate the unique spiritual and cultural needs of this growing community, the Ministry has become a vital part of the diocese’s overall mission to foster a deeper relationship with God through active participation in the Church. The mission of the Filipino Catholic Ministry resonates with the parish’s commitment to embrace multiculturalism. Celebrations of Filipino cultural and religious festivities, the annual parish based Simbang Gabi, Santo Niño Fiesta, various devotional activities, and other social events, such annual events at the community owned Philippine Cultural Foundation (PCFI) embody the connection between faith and cultural expression. Through these activities, the Filipino community visibly embodies their commitment to family, faith, and service, enhancing communal bonds and nurturing a spirit of solidarity among not only Filipinos but also fellow parishioners from diverse backgrounds.
