Most Reverend Gregory Parkes, Bishop of Saint Petersburg, announces the following clergy changes, effective July 1, 2025:

Appointment:

Very Reverend Joseph L. Waters, J.C.L, J.V. to the office of Vicar General of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, with other assignments continuing. Monsignor Robert F. Morris will continue to hold the office of Vicar General, as well.

Relieving:

Reverend Michael J. Owen [Archdiocese of Chicago], from Parochial Vicar of of Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Tampa. He is returning to his archdiocese.

Reverend Pedro Zapata, from Parochial Vicar of Corpus Christi Parish, Temple Terrace, to leave of absence.

Upon informed by Very Reverend Jude Ortese, C.S.Sp., Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Spiritans), Province of Nigeria North-East, Reverend Philip O. Ojibo, C.S.Sp., as Parochial Vicar of Nativity Parish, Brandon.
