APARTA LA FECHA:  Misa Hispana Diocesana Anual
Estás invitado a la Misa Hispana Diocesana anual.  Este año la misa será en honor a Nuestra Señora del Rosario, patrona de Guatemala y será presidida por Mons. Gregory Parkes, Obispo de Saint Petersburg.  Te esperamos el sábado, 11 de octubre de 2025 a las 11:00 a.m. en la Catedral de St. Jude the Apostle, 5815 5th Ave. North, St. Petersburg.  Acompáñanos en el rezo del rosario a las 10:00 a.m. y en la procesión de las banderas de América Latina comenzando a las 10:30 a.m.

SAVE THE DATE: Annual Diocesan Hispanic Mass
Join Bishop Gregory Parkes and the Hispanic community from parishes across the Diocese of Saint Petersburg for the Annual Hispanic Mass.  This joy-filled celebration will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, 5815 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.  The Mass begins at 11 a.m., and there will also be a Rosary at 10 a.m. and a procession of flags at 10:30 a.m.  This year the Mass is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, Patroness of Guatemala.  During this Mass, our diverse community unites to worship God together and to honor the many cultures that contribute to our Catholic faith in West Central Florida.

Pastoral Plan and Mercy Challenge News and Updates
If you haven’t already begun, now is the perfect time to dive into detailed planning for your Mercy Event.  As the date approaches, early preparation will ensure everything runs smoothly, communicates a message of hope, and offers a truly meaningful experience for your community.

Last week, we focused on securing a location, gathering volunteers, and starting promotion efforts.  This week, our attention shifts to formation, specifically selecting materials that will inspire your community to explore the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue forming hearts in love and compassion!

Natural Family Planning Awareness Week – July 20-26, 2025
Pursue a lasting love …MARRIAGE! Create hope for the future!

Natural Family Planning (NFP) Awareness Week highlights the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love, and responsible parenthood.  The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother.  Find a plethora of NFP resources at https://www.dosp.org/marriage-and-family/natural-family-planning/.

St. Gianna Center offers Education Program in Natural Family Planning, Creighton Model
St. Gianna Center is looking for new FertilityCare Practitioners to help teach the Creighton Model System (CrMS), a Natural Family Planning & Fertility Appreciation system.  A 13-month program, next class begins November 15, 2025 at Most Holy Name of Jesus, 5800 15th Ave. S., Gulfport.  Become an FCP and help women learn an approach to women’s reproductive healthcare that is safe from side effects, life-affirming, cost-effective and clinically proven.  Assist couples struggling with infertility and women with challenging cycles.  Scholarships available.  Contact Becky, 813-421-4625, https://stgiannacenter.com/become-a-practitioner/.

All are invited to the Catholic Student Center (13005 N. 50th Street, Tampa, FL 33617) for our welcome home events.  Join us Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 5:00 PM and Sunday, August 24, at 10:00 AM & 5:00 PM for Mass followed by fellowship, food, and fun to kick off another great academic year.
