Tax Exempt Certificate Renewal Process
All consumer sales tax exemption certificates have the same expiration date and are automatically renewed every five years. Toward the end of the exemption period a renewed Florida Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption (Form DR-14) is sent to the address on the expiring certificate. This is an automatic process and requires no effort by the exempt organization.
