On May 6, 2018, Bishop Parkes consecrated the entire Diocese of Saint Petersburg to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Since then, the Diocese has gathered each May for a Diocesan Marian Congress to renew this consecration together and invite others to consecrate themselves to Mary.
The day also includes Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, multilingual Rosary, and guest speakers. This year, we begin a new tradition with an intercultural Marian procession, celebrating the beauty of our diverse communities united in devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
The Mass for Renewal of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will take place at 4:00 p.m. during the Marian Congress. During the Mass, participants renew their consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary or recite the Consecration Prayer for the first time.
