The Office of Vicar for Religious is structured to maintain a bond between the Bishop of St. Petersburg and the communities of Religious women and men within the Diocese.
It is primarily an office of service: to the local Ordinary when the Vicar acts as his representative; to the Religious in areas essential to their spiritual and psychological growth; to the Diocese by supporting, in whatever ways possible, the apostolic and prayerful ministries in which the Religious are engaged.
“Christ is calling you to conform ever more closely to him,
who out of love made himself obedient, poor and chaste.
Continue to dedicate yourselves passionately
to proclaiming and promoting his Kingdom.
This is your mission, as necessary today as it was in the past!”
