Permanent Deacon Ordinations (2019)

Bishop Gregory Parkes will preside at the ordinations to diaconal ministry on Saturday, October 19, 2019 (11:00 a.m.) at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.

The Saint Jude the Apostle Medal Awards (2019)

Bishop Gregory Parkes will confer the Saint Jude the Apostle Diocesan Medal to those parish ministers who have been nominated by their pastor at a solemn  Evening Prayer on the Christ the King Sunday, November 24, 2019 (3:00 p.m.) at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.

The Marriage Jubilee Mass (2020)

Bishop Gregory Parkes will preside at a Mass with married couples who are celebrating a milestone marriage anniversary during 2020.  The Mass will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2020 (3:00 p.m.) at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.

The Rite of Election (2020)

Bishop Gregory Parkes will preside at the Rite of Election on the First Sunday of Lent, March 1, 2020 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.  There will be only one ceremony for catechumens, starting at 3:00 p.m.   Initial information will be sent to parishes in January of 2020.

The Chrism Mass (2020)

Bishop Gregory Parkes will preside at a Mass honoring those persons who came through the RCIA and were received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church during the past 12-months. This Mass will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2020 – Pentecost Sunday – (11:30 a.m.) at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.
