National Migration Week 2025, September 22–28, 2025
For 45 years, the Catholic Church in the United States has celebrated National Migration Week (NMW). This is an opportunity to reflect on our history as an immigrant Church and the ways in which our country has been enriched by generations of immigrants, including the many Catholics who have adopted this land as their own. It is also an occasion to grow in appreciation of the challenges faced by migrants and refugees, both in the United States and beyond, and to express solidarity through prayer, accompaniment, and advocacy. Pope Francis chose “Migrants, missionaries of hope” for this year’s theme.

Visit https://www.usccb.org/nmw for more information and resources.

Sacramental Records from Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, Tampa
As of July 1, 2025, Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, Tampa has been designated as Epiphany of Our Lord Shrine and is no longer a territorial parish. Given this change in designation, and in order to facilitate record keeping for the staff of the Shrine, all sacramental records from before July 1, 2025 have been transferred to the Pastoral Center and are being maintained in our diocesan Archives.

If you need proof of the reception of sacraments which occurred in Epiphany of Our Lord Parish up through June 30, 2025, please send a written request with proof of identification to the following address: Diocese of Saint Petersburg, Office of Archives and Records, P.O. Box 40200, St. Petersburg, FL 33743-0200. Inquiries may be sent to Mrs. Lisa Mobley, Associate Director of Archives and Records: lbm@dosp.org or (727) 344-1611.

World Mission Sunday
World Mission Sunday is scheduled for the weekend of October 18-19, 2025, and this year’s theme is “Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples.” During this Jubilee Year of Hope, the theme is most appropriate, and all are called to engage in missionary work in one form or another, thereby bringing hope to those in despair. This annual worldwide collection helps to provide aid to 1,124 dioceses that cannot sustain themselves because they are too poor, young, or actively persecuted.

To learn more about World Mission Sunday and the communities supported by the collection, please go to the Pontifical Mission Societies’ website at this link: https://pontificalmissions.org/wms.
