Bible on the Beach
Join Spirit FM for Bible on the Beach on Wednesday, August 5, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Sand Key Park in Clearwater. Celebrate Spirit FM’s 40th Anniversary with an evening of Scripture, small group discussion, Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Israel “Izzie” Hernandez, Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, and fellowship along the Gulf Coast. All are welcome, but space is limited. RSVP at MySpiritFM.com/BibleOnTheBeach.

Retiro Anual ¡Atrévete! 
La Pastoral Juvenil de la Diócesis de Saint Petersburg invita a todos los jóvenes adultos hispanos de 18 a 35 años al retiro anual ¡Atrévete! Este retiro en español se llevará a cabo del 13 al 15 de noviembre en Mary Help of Christians, 6400 E Chelsea St., en Tampa. Es una oportunidad para atreverse a encontrar a Jesús y experimentar la alegría que solo Él puede brindar.

Annual Retreat ¡Atrévete! 
The Pastoral Juvenil of the Diocese of Saint Petersburg invites all Hispanic Young Adults ages 18-35 to their annual ¡Atrévete! Retreat. This retreat in Spanish will take place on November 13-15, 2026 at Mary Help of Christians in Tampa. It is an opportunity to dare to encounter Jesus and to experience the joy that only He can offer.

Quarterly African Mass
You are invited to the quarterly African Mass on Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at Most Holy Redeemer Parish, 10110 N Central Ave. Tampa.   Fr. Giving from the Heart Back-to-School Drive
Summer may be in full swing, but Sacred Heart Church in Downtown Tampa is not taking any days off! On Saturday, August 8, at their North Campus,, 3515 N. Florida Ave., they will host a drive-through donation event to help two neighboring Catholic schools collect the supplies they need to be successful in the coming school year.  Volunteers will be gathered from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. to receive items assisting St. Peter Claver and St. Joseph Catholic Schools.

Sacred Heart Hosts Special “Blessing of the Bikes”
Join Sacred Heart’s friars, alongside dignitaries from Catholic Charities and the City of Tampa, for this special blessing and downtown ride on Saturday, August 15, at 9:00 a.m.

Event includes: Blessings for all riders and bikes, ceremony featuring BFTH’s 3000th bike donation w/Catholic Charities’ Maggie Rogers, a 3-mile ride through Downtown and Seminole Heights to Sacred Heart’s North Campus! and much more.

Alumni Association in Development for Sacred Heart Academy
For more than 80 years, Sacred Heart Academy in Tampa’s Seminole Heights neighborhood educated students who have gone on to become leaders in the Tampa and Hillsborough community. To help ensure the school’s spirit will live on, members of Downtown Tampa’s Sacred Heart Catholic Church are developing an alumni database for former students, teachers, and staff.
