Thanks to Florida’s commitment to parental choice in education, Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Saint Petersburg are more affordable than any where in the United States. While exact amounts vary based on county and student age, the state scholarship program gives parents approximately $8,000 per year toward the K-12 school of their choice. The Smith family, living in Tampa, has two children, John and Mary. Their Catholic school’s tuition is $8,900 and fees are $525 for a total of $9,425 per child. Here’s what the family will pay:
