A Message from Pope Francis to the Diocese
Bishop Lynch had the opportunity to share words of gratitude with Pope Francis on behalf of everyone in the Diocese of St. Petersburg when he visited Rome in October 2013. Pope Francis’ response to Bishop Lynch was, “Please pray for me, I have only just begun and I need prayers.”
We have created a poster to help share our Holy Father’s prayer request to as many as possible throughout our diocese. This visual reminder to keep Pope Francis in our prayers is available in 11×17 and 8.5×11 digital versions in English and Spanish. The 8.5×11 size would be a wonderful reminder to include in your parish bulletin if you choose to include it. Posters could also be distributed to your homebound and other ministries should you choose to do so.
