Sunday Gospel Reflection by Bishop Gregory Parkes Now Available for Bulletins
Invitation to Worship, the bishop’s Sunday Gospel reflection that airs on Spirit FM 90.5 is now available to be published in your church’s bulletin starting March 1, 2020. Parishes can receive the reflection via email (about 250 words) as a Word document or PDF along with an associated image or graphic. The reflections will be made available in English and Spanish two weeks before the date of your bulletin’s publication.

Lenten Prayer Opportunity: Receive “Be Courageous Daily Reflections”
Sign up for the Be Courageous Daily Reflection! These reflections examine the Scripture of the day, including a question to think about in relation to your own life and a prayer intention for the day. The reflections feature a variety of writers from around the Diocese of St. Petersburg – religious sisters, priests, deacons, the faithful, a monk from Saint Leo Abbey and Bishop Gregory Parkes. SEND US YOUR LENTEN PHOTOS
We are looking for photos that show how you and your parish are journeying through this Lenten season. Possible photos to submit might be from your parish’s mission, Stations of the Cross, fish fry, or other Lenten events. Photos of no-meat meals on Friday are welcome as well! We will be adding these photos to a special online photo album as they are received throughout Lent. Email your photos to socialmedia@dosp.org or publicly post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DOSPLent. Please note that in order to post any photos of minors, we must have parental/guardian permission.


SEND US YOUR SACRED TRIDUUM AND EASTER SUNDAY PHOTOS
We are looking for photos that show how your parish celebrated the Sacred Triduum and Easter Sunday. Possible photos to submit might be from your parish’s Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, from reenacting the Living Stations, photos from the Easter Vigil Mass, or from the Easter Sunday Mass. Email your photos to socialmedia@dosp.org or publicly post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DOSPEaster and #DOSPTriduum. Please note that in order to post photos of any minors, we must have parental/guardian permission.

God’s GIFT* Special Mass
(Gathering In Faith Together)
The Cathedral of Saint Jude the Apostle, 5815 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, is inviting all those in the diocese with disabilities to attend the God’s GIFT Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday, March 22, at 11:30 AM. A Sign Language interpreter will be present.

40 Hours of Exposition at Our Lady of Lourdes, Dunedin
Join us for 40 Hours of Exposition beginning with Mass on Thursday, March 14th, followed by the Exposition. The concluding liturgies begin at 9 am on March 16th and include readings, procession through the “Totally Yours” Festival on the grounds, and Benediction. Memorial candles will be offered for purchase and will be lit in honor of loved ones. Names will be included on the 40 Hours banner.
