Misa de Sanación para los Sobrevivientes de Abuso
El viernes, 6 de febrero de 2026 se celebrará una Misa de Sanación en español para sobrevivientes de abuso a las 7:00 PM.  La misa tendrá lugar en Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon. El Padre Felipe González, párroco de St. Clement, Plant City, será el celebrante. Esta misa se ofrece por aquellos que buscan sanación espiritual a causa de abuso en todas sus formas, incluyendo abuso sexual, físico o emocional, y para aquellos que deseen orar por las victimas/sobrevivientes de abuso.

Durante la misa, se invita a las personas que han sufrido de abuso a invocar a Jesús, el Buen Pastor, para obtener consuelo, paz y sanación. Después de la misa, habrá una oportunidad breve de rezar o conversar con un sacerdote y/o con John Lambert, L.C.S.W., Coordinador de Ayuda a Victimas.

Spanish Mass of Healing for Survivors of Abuse
A Spanish Mass of Healing for Survivors of Abuse will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, 7:00 p.m., at Nativity Catholic Church 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon. Father Felipe Gonzalez, Pastor of St. Clement Parish, Plant City, will be the main celebrant and homilist. This Mass is being offered for those who seek spiritual healing from abuse in all forms, including sexual, physical, or emotional, and for those who wish to pray for victims/survivors of abuse, their family and friends.

During the Mass, those harmed by abuse are invited to call upon Jesus, the Good Shepherd, for comfort, peace and healing. Opportunities for prayer with a priest or conversation with our Victim Assistance Coordinator, John Lambert, L.C.S.W., will be available following the Mass.

Zoom Training for the 2026 Catholic Ministry Appeal
The second Zoom Training for the 2026 Catholic Ministry Appeal is being held on Tuesday, January 13th. Pastors, parochial vicars, parish staff members, and volunteers are highly encouraged to attend. This webinar will be focused on the Commitment Weekend In-Pew procedures, and a presentation of the gift remittance process. Even if you attended the first training, this session will be a valuable deep dive to ensure you have a strong active phase in your parish.

Holy Family Parish – Hand in Hand with Haiti Twinning Committee
On Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 5:30 – 8:30 PM, Holy Family Parish will hold its Annual Fundraiser Dinner and silent auction to raise money for our twinning sister parish, St Gabriel in Beau Sejour, Haiti.

This will be the 18th year of celebrating and developing “A Forecast of Hope” in this parish to help financially support the medical clinic and assist the pastor in building a better parish. Dinner is free – appetizers and refreshments will be served as we hear how the parishioners overcome adversity to continue to improve all aspects of the parish. Father Jude, pastor of St. Gabriel Parish cannot make the trip this year, but Dr. Roosvelt, the Haitian doctor who makes regular visits to St. Gabriel’s Medical Clinic for our parish, will be attending and discussing the status of the parishioners, the clinic and the parish of St. Gabriel’s.

Letting Go of Worry in the New Year Retreat
St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Road, Palm Harbor, is holding a mini retreat with guest speaker and facilitator, Melissa Overmyer, author of “From Worry to Wonder: A Catholic Guide to Finding Peace Through Scripture”:  “Letting Go of Worry in the New Year”.  The retreat will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in the Parish Hall, from 8:00 a.m. Mass (optional); 8:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  Cost is $15 and includes breakfast, lunch and a copy of Overmyer’s book
