POSPUESTOS ~ Talleres para el “Desarrollo de la competencia intercultural de los ministros” (BICM, siglas en inglés)
Para salvaguardar el bienestar de nuestros feligreses, estudiantes y empleados y de apoyar a los funcionarios de la salud pública en su labor para reducir la propagación del nuevo coronavirus, los dos talleres de BICM pautados a celebrarse el 24 y 28 de marzo, 2020 en las parroquias de Our Lady Queen of Peace y St. Joseph en Tampa, han sido pospuestos hasta que se determinen nuevas fechas.  Los participantes inscritos recibirán más información por correo electrónico.

POSTPONED ~ Building Intercultural Competence for Ministers (BICM) Workshops
To safeguard the well-being of our parishioners, students and employees and to support public health officials as they work to contain the novel Coronavirus, the two BICM workshops scheduled for March 24th and March 28th, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Joseph Tampa parishes have been postponed until new dates are determined. Registered participants will be contacted via email with additional information.

CANCELADA ~ 3a Conferencia Anual Hispana para Hombres
Para salvaguardar el bienestar de nuestros feligreses, estudiantes y empleados y de apoyar a los funcionarios de la salud pública en su labor para reducir la propagación del nuevo coronavirus, el comité planificador y Suncoast Catholic Ministries ha cancelado la Conferencia Hispana para Hombres pautada para el sábado 18 de abril, 2020 en la parroquia de Nativity en Brandon. Todo boleto comprado será reembolsado y mayor información será enviada a los participantes.

CANCELED ~ 3rd Annual Hispanic Men’s Conference
To safeguard the well-being of our parishioners, students and employees and to support public health officials as they work to contain the novel coronavirus, the Planning Committee and Suncoast Catholic Ministries have canceled the Hispanic Men’s Conference scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon. Monies collected from ticket sales will be reimbursed in full and more information will be provided to registered participants.

CANCELED ~ Altar Server Mass
We are cancelling the annual Altar Server Mass scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2020.
We still ask that you submit your information online and we will be issuing the certificates of recognition and the altar server of the year certificates. 
Also, please submit the RSVP form (if you haven’t already) just completing the top portion with the parish information. This will give us up to date contact information for the parishes. The deadline for submission has been extended to Friday, March 20, 2020.

CCHD Art Contest for Pastoral
Each year, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops offers a Creating on the Margins arts contest to help schools and parishes engage youth in learning about the root causes of poverty and the Church’s response. The theme of this year’s contest, “More Than a Roof,” invites Catholic youth in grades 7-12 to respond to the issue of homelessness while using their creative gifts. SEND US YOUR LENTEN PHOTOS
We are looking for photos that show how you and your parish are journeying through this Lenten season. Possible photos to submit might be from your parish’s mission, Stations of the Cross, fish fry, or other Lenten events. Photos of no-meat meals on Friday are welcome as well! We will be adding these photos to a special online photo album as they are received throughout Lent. Email your photos to socialmedia@dosp.org or publicly post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DOSPLent. Please note that in order to post any photos of minors, we must have parental/guardian permission.


SEND US YOUR SACRED TRIDUUM AND EASTER SUNDAY PHOTOS
We are looking for photos that show how your parish celebrated the Sacred Triduum and Easter Sunday. Possible photos to submit might be from your parish’s Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, from reenacting the Living Stations, photos from the Easter Vigil Mass, or from the Easter Sunday Mass. Email your photos to socialmedia@dosp.org or publicly post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DOSPEaster and #DOSPTriduum. Courageously Live the Gospel by helping provide medical care to those in need

Our Lady of Good Counsel Camp ~ NOW HIRING, Young Adults
Our Lady of Good Counsel Camp, our Diocesan youth camp located in Floral City, Florida, is looking for counselors to live and work at camp from June 6th ~ August 1st.
Do you love working with kids and will go to any length to make a child smile? Do you love the outdoors and aren’t afraid to smell like a campfire? Do you feel a strong call to God and are confident in discussing your faith? Are you fun and outgoing but at the same time responsible and understand that the safety of a child is your top priority? If so, working as a camp counselor may be for you. We are looking for young men and women who will be at least 17 years old by this summer.

Saint Leo University Offers Social Justice Summer Camp
Saint Leo University will host a residential, co-ed social justice summer camp for students ages 14 to 18, June 21-June 27, at 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574. The campus is in Pasco County, north of Tampa.

The social justice summer camp will expose students to important societal issues, including human and environmental rights.
