ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD
Bishop Gregory Parkes will ordain Deacons Kyle Bell, Louis Turcotte and Timothy Williford to the priesthood on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, St. Petersburg.

YOUTH VIDEO CONTEST
The Diocese of St. Petersburg celebrates its 50th Anniversary during 2018. Teens have an opportunity to learn about the history of their local Church through a video contest that answers the question: “Why I love the Church.” The best videos will be featured on the diocesan website and played at the Family Faith Fest on October 27, 2018. EWTN TO AIR DOCUMENTARY ON THE FLORIDA MARTYRS ON JUNE 6, 2018
Famed “Miracle Hunter” Michael O’Neill’s EWTN series “They Might Be Saints” will air a special one-hour episode on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. EDT featuring the proposed Martyrs of la Florida. The cause for the Martyrs of la Florida is currently being prepared for submission to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome. Bishop Gregory Parkes and Diocese of St. Petersburg priest, Father Len Plazewski, are interviewed on the program.

40 HOURS OF EXPOSITION
Our Lady of Lourdes, Dunedin will be having 40 Hours of Exposition for the Feast of Corpus Christi beginning with Mass on Thursday, May 31 at 7pm, followed by Exposition. The concluding liturgies begin at 9 am on Saturday, June 2 and include Readings, Procession, and Benediction. Candles will be displayed and lit in honor/memory of loved ones. The PSA Sports Ministry invites all children ages Pre-K through 8th Grade to sign-up for a full week of All Sports Camp to be held the week of June 25-29, 2018 from 9 am to 12 pm at St. Paul Parish Campus, Tampa. This summer camp will provide children with an opportunity to play all their favorite sports while meeting new friends. The cost for the camp is $90 per child with sibling discount available.
