2018 Candidate Questionnaire Project: An Informed Voter is a Responsible Voter
The U.S. bishops remind us, “In the Catholic Tradition, responsible citizenship is a virtue, and participation in political life is a moral obligation.” To help parishioners become informed on where candidates stand on key issues, the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops has surveyed those running for U.S. Congress and the Florida Legislature. To see how candidates appearing on the November 6 General Election ballots responded to the questionnaire, visit www.flaccb.org. (Graphic here.)

(Graphic here.)

Remembering the Faithful Departed
November is the Month of All Souls, when we remember and pray for our dearly departed. We would like to remember your loved ones who have died during the last year in an online photo album. Please send a photo of this special person with his or her name and a remembrance of six words or less to socialmedia@dosp.org. The album will be accessible on the diocesan website at www.dosp.org and on the Diocesan Facebook page (www.facebook.com/diostpete). Photos will be added to the album as they are received throughout November.
