Catholic Foundation: Committed to Transparency and Accountability – 2020 Impact Report

Posted inCatholic FoundationLocal News

The purpose of endowed and long-term investments is to provide support to beneficiaries now and into the future. The Catholic Foundation is proud to be entrusted with more than 70 managed and endowed funds from committed donors. As stewards of the legacy gifts so generously given, the Catholic Foundation is committed to transparency and accountability. With that commitment, the 2020 Impact Report is now available online.

The online report provides impact numbers for fund growth and performance to support our beneficiaries, year-over-year comparative reporting for the 2019-2020 fiscal year through June 30, 2020, a link to the 2019-2020 audited financial statements, which includes an overview of the Foundation’s operational expenses and revenues, information about our Board members, and a special focus on the Mater Spei Circle of the new Mater Dei Giving Society of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. More information is also provided in the printable version of the report.

“It is vital to know that these funds are stewarded and managed well,” said Meegan Wright, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation. “In both good times and bad, our beneficiaries can count on receiving distributions which support them in their mission to save lives for Christ. Our goal is to continue working with our parishes, schools and larger ministries to secure new funds which can support them year after year.”
