The diocesan celebration of the Year of Consecrated Life will continue at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle on October 31, 2015.  Principal celebrant will be Bishop Robert N. Lynch.  This joyous liturgy will be followed by a luncheon for all the religious in the diocese.  This year’s Jubilarians will also be celebrated in conjunction with the festivities on this day. Guest speaker at the luncheon will be the Most Rev. Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., Archbishop of Indianapolis.  Before being appointed to the see of Indianapolis by Pope Benedict XVI, Archbishop Tobin served in Rome as Secretary of the Vatican Congregation for Institutes for Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. The Faithful are invited to attend the liturgy in the cathedral at 11:00 AM, and to help celebrate the religious women and men who are ministering here in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
