On Monday, August 8, 2016, Cristo Rey Tampa High School at Mary Help of Christians Center opened for its inaugural freshmen class. The first Cristo Rey Network school to open in Florida, Cristo Rey Tampa serves low to moderate income families and provides a Catholic, college preparatory education and real-world work experience.
