Deacon David Sirrianna ~ Update

The Diaconate Office received word of the passing of Deacon David Sirrianna, 80,  from Sacred Heart Parish in Pinellas Park. on Monday, April 11, 2022.

Deacon Sirrianna was ordained on June 28, 1997 for the Diocese of St. Petersburg.  He was assigned to the Cathedral of St. Jude from June 1997 to August 2009 and to Sacred Heart Parish, Pinellas Park, from August 2009 to present. He was granted Active/Retired status in June 2017.   

Deacon Dave was the Director of Religious Education at the Cathedral of St. Jude for several years and he also was the Parish Manager of St. Matthew Parish in Largo. 

The funeral services for Deacon David Sirrianna will be as follows:

  • Visitation will take place on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Evening Prayer at 6:30 PM.
  • The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday,  April 19th at Sacred Heart Parish, 7809 46th Way North, Pinellas Park,  at 10:30 AM with Bishop Emeritus Robert N. Lynch as the main celebrant.
