The Chancellor’s Office received word that Dr. Barbara J. McConville, 75, former Director of Catholic Formation and Education for the Diocese of St. Petersburg from 1990 to 2003, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, while under Hospice care at her home in Fort Myers, Florida, after a long battle with cancer. 

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd., Largo. 
Burial will take place at a later date.
