The Diocese of St. Petersburg has been judged to be in compliance with the articles of the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.

The compliance letter followed a September 18-20, 2017 on-site audit in which the Pastoral Center, parish and school employees were interviewed concerning practices related to creating and maintaining a safe environment for our children, youth and vulnerable adults.

The audit was based on our report for the period of July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. On-site audits take place every three years, with audits by correspondence taking place during the intervening years. Unless it is decided otherwise, our next on-site audit will take place in 2020.
