The mission of Intercultural Ministries in the Diocese of St. Petersburg is to recognize, celebrate, and support ministries and parishes that invite Native American Catholics within the diocese to Courageously Live the Gospel.

Our diocese has been richly blessed with peoples of every culture, language and tradition. What binds us together, however, through all this diversity is our gift of faith. Our Christian heritage encourages us to reach out and share, by our lives, what we believe. As Native American Catholics, we are very invested in carrying out our mission as members of the Church, and sharing the gifts of the Creator.

It is our hope that more Native American Catholics will become involved across the diocese so that our expression of prayer and ceremony, an outgrowth of our own spirituality, will touch the lives of many others.
