The Chancellor’s Office received the news of the passing of Mr. Joseph Kibbedhi, 48, brother of Father Anthony Kakaire, Parochial Vicar of St. Cecelia Parish, Clearwater, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.  According to Father Kakaire, Mr. Kibbedhi resided in his native Uganda and had battled cancer over the past year.

Funeral services took place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Namayumba Wakiso District, Uganda.
