The Chancellor’s Office has learned of the passing of Mrs. Anna Ankrah Adwoa Serwaa Senya, 81, biological mother of Reverend George Gyasi, Parochial Vicar of Resurrection Parish, Riverview.  Mrs. Senya passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Poku Transport Memorial Hospital- Asokwa, Kumasi, Ghana.  Father Gyasi also suffered the loss of his adoptive mother, Mrs. Theresa Frances Afia Ansah-Poku, last December.

Mrs. Senya left behind 22 siblings, five children and twelve grandchildren. She was much loved by her family, extended family, and friends, and she will be greatly missed by many.
