Ms. Patricia Landry

The Chancellor’s Office was recently informed of the passing of Ms. Patricia Anne Landry on April 13, 2024 at the age of 79.  Patricia was first and foremost an educator and life-long learner.  She earned masters degrees in Religious Studies and Educational Leadership.

Patricia became a sister in the Adorers of the Blood of Christ in Columbia, PA, where she served as a teacher and Principal for 33 years. She left the convent and moved to the Tampa, Florida to be near family. She joined the Tampa Catholic High School community where she served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal for 17 years. She touched the lives of hundreds of children and young adults.

Patricia will be remembered for her love of travel, her sharp intellect, and her love of reading, particularly about the Royal family.

Patricia is survived by her long-time friend, Liz Cowley, and her brother and wife Peter and Mary Landry, her niece Sara, and nephews Brendan and Patrick; and great nieces and nephews Chloe, Zach, Sammy, Eliot, and Esmae. Patricia loved her family dearly.

There will be a service for Ms. Landry on Friday, May 31st, 11:00 a.m., at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Rd. in Lutz.  All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough at SuncoastHospice.org or Tampa Catholic High School.
