She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Suzanne Thomas. She is survived by her siblings, Anne L. Thomas, Robert M. Thomas, and Christina T. Sievers, and nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind a larger family of friends and devoted caregivers. Her family wishes to express their gratitude to her nurses, the office staff at Care Team Home Healthcare, and her physicians, Carolyn Connelly and Denise Edwards, for the excellent care and kindness they provided to Susan.
