Rev. Msgr. Edward J. Mulligan
Monsignor Edward J. Mulligan, 87, a retired priest of the Diocese of St. Petersburg and founding pastor of Transfiguration Parish, St. Petersburg and St. Brendan Parish, Clearwater Beach, passed away in the Lord at Suncoast Hospice Center, Pinellas Park, on Friday evening, August 3, 2018, one day after his 87th birthday.

A funeral Mass was held at St. Brendan Catholic Church, Clearwater, on August 10, 2018 followed by burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater.

Mrs. Carolyn E. Morley
We received word that Mrs. Carolyn E. Morley, 85, mother of Reverend Craig Morley, Pastor
of Holy Family Parish, St. Petersburg, passed away in the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She served as the secretary of Nativity Parish, Brandon, for 17 years, was a past president of the parish’s Council of Catholic Women and dedicated many hours to visiting the homebound.

Mrs. Morley was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dorian J. Morley. Surviving
family members include her brother, Edward J. Vining, sons Bruce and Father Craig Morley and daughters Jeanine Richards and Kathleen Cobb, along with seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was held at Nativity Parish, Brandon, on August 6, 2018 followed by burial at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa.

Mr. Wilfredo Huertas
Mr. Wilfredo Huertas, father of Wil Huertas, Parish Manager, St. Cecelia Parish, and father in-law to Sue Huertas, Diaconate Office, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, St. Petersburg, followed by burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Martin Mackin, Jr.
Mr. Martin Mackin, Jr., brother of Reverend Kevin Mackin, O.F.M., Parochial Vicar of St. Raphael Parish, St. Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.  A Funeral Mass is being held in New York on Thursday, August 16, 2018.
