Reverend Edward Wal
We are saddened to inform of the passing of Reverend Edward Wal, 64, on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Northside Hospital.  He most recently served as Pastor of Transfiguration Parish, St. Petersburg until July 2018 when he was placed on long term disability due to ongoing health issues.

Rev. Msgr. Joseph Goudreau
Rev. Msgr. (Lt. Col.) Joseph Goudreau, 82, brother of Rev. Paul Goudreau, retired priest of our diocese, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 following a brief illness.

Monsignor Goudreau lived in Arlington, Virginia and was a priest of the Diocese of Portland, Maine, having served as a Chaplain for the Archdiocese of the Military Services, U.S.A., specifically at Fort Myer, adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery.  He was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by sisters Claire Goudreau and Priscilla Dupill and his brother, Father Paul Goudreau.

A Memorial Service will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, in Arlington, Virginia on Sunday, October 28, 2018.  Also, a Memorial Mass is scheduled for Monday, October 29, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 8400 Monarch Drive, Port Richey.
