Reverend Elmer McDonald
(1924 – 2016)

We recently learned of the passing of Reverend Elmer McDonald, 92, a retired priest of the Diocese of Rochester, on Sunday, December 4, 2016.  Father McDonald spent most of his retirement years in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, providing assistance to St. John Vianney Parish, St. Pete Beach and serving as Chaplain at Bay Pines V.A. Hospital.  He returned to his native New York state in 2015.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 3350 Union Street, North Chili, New York on Tuesday, December 6th, at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Salvatore Matano presiding.
