Reverend Emeric Slezak, OFM
We were informed of the death of Reverend Emeric Szlezak, O.F.M., 101, a retired priest of the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor, Holy Name Province, on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Father Szlezak was a resident of St. Anthony Friary, St. Petersburg at the time of his death. He is survived by his brother, Emery Szlezak and by his Franciscan confreres.

All funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 515 Fourth Street S., St. Petersburg and are as follows:

— Wake Service will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Priests wishing to concelebrate are asked to bring an alb and white stole.
— Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 1181h Avenue N., Clearwater.

Please keep Father Szlezak’s brother, Emery and the entire Franciscan community in your kind thoughts and prayers.
