On March 11th the entire Our Lady of Lourdes students, faculty and staff participated in a school-wide Respect Rally for the Special Olympics. This wonderful event affirmed our unity as the children of God.

Each event stressed working as a team. There was a mixture of students and teachers from each grade.  The crowd cheered as each grade successfully overcame each obstacle!

The 8th Grade vs. Teachers Tug of War was truly a battle of wills and strength as each team gave their all.  The Teachers won this year!! Our students raised $500 for Pinellas County Special Olympics.

We are all truly God’s children.
We are all different, but yet the same.
We all have strengths, as well as weaknesses.
We all need to be treated with RESPECT!
