The Chancellor’s Office received the news that Reverend Antonino (Tony) D’Angelo, S.D.B., 98, a retired member of the Salesians of Don Bosco, in residence at the St. Philip Residence at Mary Help of Christians Center, Tampa, passed away in the Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at James A. Haley V.A. Hospital, Tampa.  Father D’Angelo was a professed Salesian for over 64 years and a priest for 54 years.

Local funeral services will be held at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 6400 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, with visitation on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 5:30-8:00 p.m., and a Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.  Father D’Angelo will be buried on Saturday, October 3, 2021, at the Salesian Cemetery, in Goshen, New York.
