We sadly announce to all of you the passing of Father John G. Masiello, SDB, on the afternoon of Saturday, October 24, 2020.

Father Masiello came to the Diocese of St. Petersburg in 2007 and resided at St. Philip the Apostle Residence, at Mary Help of Christians, Tampa, until his death.

Funeral services were celebrated at Mary Help of Christians Church in Tampa, on October 28 and 29, 2020.  A second wake was held at the Salesian High School Chapel in New Rochelle, NY on October 30, 2020. Interment at the Salesian cemetery in Goshen, NY on October 31, 2020.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
