The Chancellor’s Office received news of the passing of Sister Mary Deborah Carlin, SND, on February 6, 2026.  Sister Carlin served in the St. Petersburg Diocese for 28 years at:
1984-1991 at Clearwater Central Catholic High School, teaching Religion;
1991-2000 at Our Lady of Lourdes School as Director of Catechetical Ministry;
and 2000-2012 at Guardian Angels Catholic School as Director of Religious Education.

Her burial will take place on February 9, 2026 at Resurrection Cemetery of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Chardon OH. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
