A meeting was held on Saturday, October 25 for Black Catholic Ministry representatives from the dioceses of Florida. The group, known as the Florida Conference of Offices for Black Catholic Ministry, was established as a Conference to help the various diocesan offices connect, share information and resources, plan events and support one another. Due to the closure of some offices from full-time status, the group had lost its connection. Several “representatives” of the dioceses gathered to begin the process of reconnecting and sharing. The meeting was hosted by the Black Catholic Assembly and St. Peter Claver parish in Tampa.
