The Mission of the Ecumenical and Interreligious Office is to foster Christian Unity and Interreligious dialogue through cooperation, prayer, and understanding among our local and diocesan Catholic community with established religions of the area. We foresee cooperation to address social issues targeted at protecting the most vulnerable of society, we foresee dialogues of acceptance while understanding the varied precepts of faith among the participating religions, and we foresee fellowship in prayer centered on times of heightened civic awareness.
