All National & Diocesan Religious Recognition Awards are presented at the Religious Recognition Ceremony, annually.  National Religious Recognition booklets and patch programs may be purchased at the NFCYM’s online store.  

THE GOD IS LOVE Award

Designed for Girls in Scouting in Kindergarten or 1st grade.  It helps girls discover an appreciation that God created, cares for and loves us all.

THE FAMILY OF GOD Award 

Designed for Girls in Scouting in the 2nd and 3rd Grades. The program helps girls discover the presence of God in their daily lives as members of their family and parish.  

THE I LIVE MY FAITH Award 

Presented to Girls in Scouting in the 4th & 5th Grades. It is designed around the themes of belief, sacraments, Catholic Christian living and prayer.  Each theme provides a variety of opportunities for girls to explore areas spanning from art to technology and from research to drama.  It is action oriented, but accompanied by reflection and sharing with parents, consultants and peers.

THE MARIAN Award 

Presented to Girls in Scouting in Grades 6-8th grade. The program helps girls learn more about Mary, and more about themselves.  Girls will meet Mary in Scripture as a young teenager, follow her journeys and watch her grow into a woman known as the Mother of God. Through interviews, role play, service projects, and reflection questions, it will help girls learn more about themselves.  Mary, The First Disciple is the name of the Marian Medal Program Booklet.

THE SPIRIT ALIVE 

Presented to Girls in Scouting in 9-12th grade.  The program assists girls in discovering how the Holy Spirit moves in their lives, calling them to greater participation in the church’s ministry.

MISSIO 

Presented to Girls in Scouting in 11 or 12th grade.  The program invites girls to explore discipleship and their own religious identity.
